Uber might extend their Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Accreditation after the LTFRB found out that they were still continuing to accept new drivers despite being ordered to stop last July 26, 2017.

A show-cause order released earlier today by LTFRB says that after their investigation, they found Uber violating the directive contained in the order dated last July 26. They are requiring Uber to submit a written explanation to why their TNC accreditation should not be cancelled.

Uber’s Head Of Communications denied LTFRB’s findings saying that the company suspended activations last July 29. They further said that the applications for vehicle are being accepted but not processed as they are optimistic with their ongoing discussions with the LTFRB.

Hopefully, LTFRB can fix these issues with both TNCs of Uber and Grab as soon as possible.
