More than the fun that playing brings, its power extends to creating bond within families, developing new friends, learning new things, and reaping happy memories, and for National Children’s Month, the kids’ right to play takes center stage, reminding everyone that this physical activity has incredible benefits and is truly vital to a child’s development.

This power of play has always been at the heart of KidZania Manila, not only by letting kids aged 4 to 17 years old take on multiple, real-life ‘jobs,’ but also encouraging them to learn new skills, grab exciting opportunities, and embark on memorable adventures.

Imagine their delight on being a pilot, a firefighter, a news reporter, or a runway model for a day. Yet beyond the fun are key learnings—safety measures inside an aircraft, the value of putting out fires instantly, the discipline and composure of a reporter, and the creativity in every runway performance—plus lasting memories that they can treasure for life.

As BGC’s premier play city continues to provide a safe space for kids to learn through fun and purposeful experiences, Bantay Bata 163 beneficiaries were reminded of how comforting and uplifting play is as they explored various KidZania establishments and created fun memories last Sunday (November 24).

The eyes of young visitors are also opened about real-life events and social situations inside the kid-sized city, making them learn the value of helping out in their own little ways. During the National Play Advocacy Week (Nov. 19 to 24), hundreds of kids got to share their books, toys, and KidZos (the KidZania currency) at the KidZania Donation Hub for the benefit of those who have been affected by the quakes in Mindanao. The experience even brought student visitors to keep coming back to donate their hard-earned KidZos and encourage their classmates to do the same.

KidZania Manila is one of the world’s most inventive and fastest-growing kids’ educational entertainment concepts. It operates under ABS-CBN Themed Experiences Inc., a subsidiary of the country’s leading media and entertainment company that seeks to bring unique Kapamilya experiences in engaging and interactive themed attractions.

Embrace the power of play in a child’s life! KidZania Manila has tons of establishments from which they can discover the fun in learning and develop essential values along the way.
