Implementing the the enhanced community quarantine to prevent the rise of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in the Philippines has surely taken a toll in our lifestyles. From working from home to practicing social distancing to eating different recipes of a single dish (you know what we’re talking about).

Having food delivered right to your doorsteps via an app is now a luxury that some of us miss today, especially when the food you’re craving is not within walking distance.

That’s when Angkas introduces Angkas Food.

In a Facebook post, Angkas launched its latest feature.

“Delivering food isn’t our expertise. Madaming mas magaling d’yan,” they admitted. But they are going to do so for the livelihood of their bikers.

What makes this great is, Angkas will not receive any commission from this new service. Meaning, 100% of the delivery fee goes to the biker!

Angkas Food starts at PHP 60 for the first 3 km. There will be an additional PHP10 for every exceeding km. Delivery hours is from 10AM to 5:30PM.

In addition, there will be a strict implementation of no-touch policy in accordance with social distancing. Once the biker arrives at the location, he/she will place the item on the motorcycle seat and move to a safe distance until the customer gets their order.

Lastly, don’t forget to tip the bikers generously!
